The existing house has a very inefficient layout. The existing galley kitchen is not very practical being long and narrow. By removing a short section of wall and adding a three meter extension it transforms the main living spaces fronting onto the garden. The entrance is reconfigured with a new porch, utility and larger Bathroom.
